Car-fi once again helped sponsor one of the most popular music events of the year, The Greater Ozarks Blues Festival. The dates for the festival were September 5th and 6th. This year the event was at an Exciting New Venue, Bass Pro Shops Parking Lot! Also new this year will be a cool dual stage setup. This put an end to those boring breaks between band sets. There was even plenty of convenient nearby parking available.

Friday was a perfect evening for a concert - a little cloudy and cool, but the music was HOT!. A whole lot of our friends and patrons were out there partying with us. Car-Fi's Wild Thing and Pioneer Premier Corvette even made guest appearances! The attendance was one of the the largest to date of all the Blues festival Friday nights.

Saturday started out wet. But a little drizzle wasn't going to stop the Springfield area bluesfans from enjoying some killer music. About 3:00 the rain stopped for the rest of the day, the plastic was pulled off the PA speakersand the party kicked in full force.
