PROJECT WILD THING
April 2007 - It began when we acquired a 1974 VW Thing! Our Custom Installation specialists barricaded themselves in the super secret laboratory of Car-Fi and started dreaming up fiendish ideas for project Wild Thing. Now it's ready to unleash on the Springfield area! Parades, concerts, radio station promos, special events and more are in store for this Car-Fi Wild Thing. Here you can witness the transformation as we converted this Thing to an exciting Car-Fi Demo car. Now, here's the wildest part of it all - WE GAVE IT AWAY! The contest ran thoughout the summer. You could register to win at either of the Car-Fi locations or Power 96.5 events. 96 listeners were randomly selected out of all that registered to be finalists.
The Grand Winner was announced Sept. 13th @ the Street Machine Fall Nationals. The proud new owner of the Wild Thing is Corey Moore.

| The sponsors of the Wild Thing Give-Away helped out one of the area's support organizations with a nice donation at the Street Machine Fall Nationals. The local Boy's & Girls's Club received a check for $3861.00 from Car-Fi, Power 96.5, Mediacom and Glamour Shots. We at Car-Fi and the rest of the sponsors are proud to have been a part of this effort. |
