The Thing was purchased in Chicago. It made it's journey to Car-Fi safely on the back of a car trailer. The motor did run, for the most part, but it definitely needed some TLC.

The Thing is partially disassembled and inspected for body damage and deterioration. The rear bumper had push bars welded onto it to make push starting it easier. Luckily it came with a spare original bumper without bars. A number of factory wiring problems will need to be addressed.
